Philadelphia – Drexel men's tennis defeated La Salle, 7-0, in a non-conference match held at the Vidas Athletic Complex. The victory improved the Dragons' record to 4-7 on the 2006-07 season.
No Dragons lost a set in singles play while Drexel won all three doubles matches. Top singles player Omar Laalej (Meknes, Morocco) defeated Ross Flockizie, 6-0, 6-0. At No. 6 singles Jarrod Popovice (Bethlehem, Pa./Moravian Academy) also won 6-0, 6-0 in his match.
Drexel returns to the court on Wednesday, April 4 for a non-conference match against Rider at the Vidas Athletic Complex. The first match will begin at 2:00 p.m.
